Hello and Welcome! If you are reading this, there is a chance that you may be feeling some unrest or uncertainty in your life. Perhaps, there have been some challenges placed in your path that you do not feel equipped to handle. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you and discuss what you want your next steps to be. Through collaboration, we will work together to help you realize your own strengths and resources to promote courage, healing, and growth. We all hold the tools we need to move in our desired, goal-directed paths but sometimes we need a little assistance realizing those.
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, a Licensed Addiction Counselor, and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. Additionally, I am a Certified EMDR Therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and an Approved Consultant. I enjoy sharing this modality with clients as a potential treatment option. I utilize a variety of approaches to treat individuals, couples, families, and lead groups. My training and education has molded me to be a systemic thinker meaning I look at things from a "how are all the things in our world impacting our presenting issues?" Rather than looking at problems from an individual basis. Often times, we only realize one piece and I hope to help you expand your thinking and target the process over content to create meaningful and lasting change.
Being outdoors and soaking in nature through kayaking, camping, and hiking are some of the things that help me to find my center. In therapy, you can expect to feel safe in our conversations, learn how to find your own center through techniques that will help you discover what brings you the most peace and healing. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you and assist you on your journey through life!

Hi! I’m glad you’re here!
Life does not come with an instruction manual. We often ask ourselves, “Where do I go from here,” and that’s okay! It can be challenging to navigate life's curveballs because we don't know how or we don't feel like we deserve to find healing. Each person’s journey towards healing is different, but everyone deserves a space where they can begin that journey.
My goal as your therapist is to provide a warm and comforting space where we can work together towards change. I value the experiences of the individuals, couples, and families that enter my office. I invite you to come as you are, and know that when you leave, you have learned to give yourself grace and have worked hard to reach your goals.
Taking the first step can be difficult but it is worth it. When you are ready, I look forward to going on this journey with you.
I graduated from Abilene Christian University with my Bachelor's in Child and Family Services in 2020 and stayed another two years to complete my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy.
As a collaborative therapist my hope is to empower you to be the expert on your life. I believe in the importance of working together to reach your goals. I work with children, couples, families, and individuals.
Additionally, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and will be offering a limited number of space at a reduced fee for clients interested in this modality.
I look forward to learning more about you and helping you in your healing journey!

Hello! My name is Lauren Perry and I am a graduate student with the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Abilene Christian University. I have always felt a calling to help those that are struggling with mental health and relationships; especially, couples, the LGBTQ+ community, and families in transitional periods in their lives. Life has many ups and downs, and sometimes we have no idea how to handle it. Through our sessions we will navigate through challenges, relationships, generational patterns, and connections. Our goal is to work together to learn healthier life skills and how to adapt to change.
It is my top priority to provide you and your loved ones a safe space to express yourselves in order to explore identities, boundaries, and connections. No individual, couple, or family is the same which means that your sessions will be adjusted to match you. Your thoughts and emotions will be listened to with an open mind and heart. Our therapeutic relationship will be based on empathy, trust, and acceptance as we work together towards your goals.
I hope to assist you in your life's challenges and provide meaningful change. I am looking forward to assisting you on your life's journey!
