Hello and Welcome! If you are reading this, there is a chance that you may be feeling some unrest or uncertainty in your life. Perhaps, there have been some challenges placed in your path that you do not feel equipped to handle. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you and discuss what you want your next steps to be. Through collaboration, we will work together to help you realize your own strengths and resources to promote courage, healing, and growth. We all hold the tools we need to move in our desired, goal-directed paths but sometimes we need a little assistance realizing those.

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, a Licensed Addiction Counselor, and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. Additionally, I am a Certified EMDR Therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and an Approved Consultant. I enjoy sharing this modality with clients as a potential treatment option.  I utilize a variety of approaches to treat individuals, couples, families, and lead groups. My training and education has molded me to be a systemic thinker meaning I look at things from a "how are all the things in our world impacting our presenting issues?" Rather than looking at problems from an individual basis. Often times, we only realize one piece and I hope to help you expand your thinking and target the process over content to create meaningful and lasting change.

Being outdoors and soaking in nature through kayaking, camping, and hiking are some of the things that help me to find my center. In therapy, you can expect to feel safe in our conversations, learn how to find your own center through techniques that will help you discover what brings you the most peace and healing. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you and join you on your journey through life!

 Hello!

Starting therapy is a brave step that often marks the beginning of a new season in life. Whether you’re feeling stuck in old patterns, navigating the stormy waters of relationship conflict, or carrying the weight of past wounds, my role is to walk alongside you as a steady guide and compassionate listener. I believe in the power of change, even when it feels out of reach, and in the quiet strength that emerges when we feel truly seen and supported.

I have a deep passion for working with couples in all areas of life; dating, married, partnership, or navigating separation and divorce. Additionally, I am driven to work with individuals who are navigating trauma, disconnection, and emotional pain. I view the therapy room as a kind of greenhouse. Within this space, healing can take root, trust can be nurtured, and new ways of relating can begin to blossom.

My work is shaped by several powerful approaches. Narrative Therapy, helps us explore the stories we live by and gently revise those that no longer serve your growth. Gottman Method Couples Therapy, offers tools to strengthen communication, rebuild connection, and weather life’s inevitable conflicts. Lastly, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a deeply effective method for helping the mind and body process trauma and restore a sense of safety and balance.

I do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I collaborate with you to tailor each session to your unique needs, goals, and diversity. My style is warm, non-judgmental, and relational. I hold space with curiosity and care, always honoring the complexity of your story and the strength it takes to tell it.

Growth can be slow and messy, like untangling roots or pruning back what’s overgrown. But with time, intention, and grace healing can lead to flourishing. I am here to help cultivate the change you are longing for.

Hello, I’m Sidney!

I am currently a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Hardin-Simmons University. I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted, so my goal is help create that space where you can show up exactly how you are without judgment. My approach to counseling is rooted in authenticity and acceptance. I want to work alongside you as we create meaningful change together. I strive to meet clients with compassion, curiosity, and care while helping them navigate any challenges they may face. I have the guidance of my clinical supervisors both at this practice and on campus.

Outside the counseling room I enjoy spending time with others, listening to music, and finding joy in the little things that help me feel grounded and connected. No matter where you are in your journey, I would love to walk alongside you.
