Hello and Welcome! If you are reading this, there is a chance that you may be feeling some unrest or uncertainty in your life. Perhaps, there have been some challenges placed in your path that you do not feel equipped to handle. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you and discuss what you want your next steps to be. Through collaboration, we will work together to help you realize your own strengths and resources to promote courage, healing, and growth. We all hold the tools we need to move in our desired, goal-directed paths but sometimes we need a little assistance realizing those.
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, a Licensed Addiction Counselor, and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. Additionally, I am a Certified EMDR Therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and an Approved Consultant. I enjoy sharing this modality with clients as a potential treatment option. I utilize a variety of approaches to treat individuals, couples, families, and lead groups. My training and education has molded me to be a systemic thinker meaning I look at things from a "how are all the things in our world impacting our presenting issues?" Rather than looking at problems from an individual basis. Often times, we only realize one piece and I hope to help you expand your thinking and target the process over content to create meaningful and lasting change.
Being outdoors and soaking in nature through kayaking, camping, and hiking are some of the things that help me to find my center. In therapy, you can expect to feel safe in our conversations, learn how to find your own center through techniques that will help you discover what brings you the most peace and healing. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you and join you on your journey through life!

Welcome! I am so glad you are here!
Life is often like a winding road- one that does not always come with clear signs or directions. The winding road is often unpredictable and challenging, but also full of potential for growth and discovery. We often find ourselves asking, “Where do I go from here?” And that’s perfectly okay. It can feel overwhelming to navigate life’s twists and turns, especially when we are unsure how to heal or feel we are worthy of healing. The journey towards healing is deeply personal, but everyone deserves a safe space to start.
As your therapist, I prioritize creating a warm, supportive environment where we can work together toward lasting change. I deeply respect the experiences of each individual, couple, and family who walks through my door. I invite you to come as you are, and by the time you leave, you will have learned to give yourself the grace you deserve and made meaningful progress toward your goals.
Taking the first step can be intimidating, especially if you do not know where it leads. When you are ready, I am here to walk alongside you on your path toward transformation.
I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor’s in Child and Family Services in 2020, and continued my studies to earn a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy through my Alma Mater. I have also received training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, which is particularly effective for trauma healing.
As a collaborative therapist, I believe you are the expert of your own life. My role is to empower you with the tools, insights, and support you need to create lasting change. Whether you are seeking help as an individual, a couple, or a family, I am here to help you find the solutions that work best for you.
I look forward to getting to know you better and supporting you on your healing journey!

Hello! My name is Lauren Perry and I am a graduate student with the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Abilene Christian University. I have always felt a calling to help those that are struggling with mental health and relationships; especially, couples, the LGBTQ+ community, and families in transitional periods in their lives. Life has many ups and downs, and sometimes we have no idea how to handle it. Through our sessions we will navigate through challenges, relationships, generational patterns, and connections. Our goal is to work together to learn healthier life skills and how to adapt to change.
It is my top priority to provide you and your loved ones a safe space to express yourselves in order to explore identities, boundaries, and connections. No individual, couple, or family is the same which means that your sessions will be adjusted to match you. Your thoughts and emotions will be listened to with an open mind and heart. Our therapeutic relationship will be based on empathy, trust, and acceptance as we work together towards your goals.
I hope to assist you in your life's challenges and provide meaningful change. I am looking forward to assisting you on your life's journey!
