Good Faith Estimate

H.R. 3630 - No Surprises Act

As of January 1, 2022 health professionals are required to provide good faith estimates to patients and clients who are uninsured, not using their health insurance, or are engaging in a service with an out-of-network provider. You may read the bill here: https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/3630

What You Can Expect

If you are self-pay, you will be provided an estimated cost for services for the entire year based on weekly attendance. This estimate is only for the services provided by this office.

Your Rights

You have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes medical testing, prescription medication, medical equipment, and hospital fees. If you receive a bill that is more than $400  than your Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute the bill.
