Who We Are
At The Sum of You Counseling, we are a group of humans who have been down the path of healing ourselves. We know how difficult it can be to ask for help and we celebrate your courage. We believe that people are more than just the experiences they are working to overcome. While these experiences can greatly impact our lives, we desire to learn the other parts of you that will help you grow and heal. All of these parts are the sum of you. Through compassion, empathy, and gentle accountability, we can begin to heal these parts from within, recognize what work is yours to do and learn to set aside what is not yours to carry.
Our motto is "C.I.L. - Courage Inspires Living" and we hope to help you breathe life and meaning into this phrase.

Our focus is to help individuals find meaning, healing, and feel energized to take on life. We focus not just on the problem but all the areas that may be contributing factors. Our focus is you, our client, and what you tell us important. We fully believe in the power of your nervous system to heal itself and when we focus on creating a safe and healing space for this to happen, you will feel the difference.
